Bio: Indy isn’t just our Global Brand Ambassador, she’s an urban farmer, mushroom forager and sustainability activist from Los Angeles whose dream was to be more intentional with her food and buy all natural and organic produce. After a trip to the store, she learned how unaffordable it was and left with a few pockets of seeds—and a new determination to grow plants at home. Since then, she’s volunteered on farms across the country, studied herbal medicine, and worked with non-profits to grow food for the underserved residents of LA. Now, she’s on a mission: to start her own BIPOC Community Garden dedicated to community enrichment.

“You don’t have to run to the local nursery—start by re-growing your celery ends, green onion scraps or lettuce heads in water on your windowsill.”
KEEP SMALL COLLECTIONS
“Find things of quality and keep small collections. This applies to having a capsule closet, only using a few well-made beauty products or reducing your cookware to a few essential items.”
“Although it might not seem like interpersonal interaction directly translates to a healthier planet, it’s important to realize that humans are a part of nature, not separate. If we are kinder, more giving, more understanding of one another, we can inspire others to feel a deeper connection to the planet we all call home.”
